[solved] Client crashes on start
Client crashes on start

Hi folks,

since I updated to win10 x64 2004 a few days ago, the WoT Numbers Client won't start anymore. It crashes right after starting it. Got an error message in German here:

Maybe it's related to .NET Framework (dunno if there were updates to it, too). Anyone ran into the same problem?

Using the installer's option to repair my installation did not help.

Best regards,

the.k

Wot Numbers depends on .net 4.5 framework, the installer should check for it and alert if is is missing, but you could take a check that this framework exists on your new PC.

You should also take a look at the user guides and the troubleshooting guide.

Updated to latest release, 0.27.4, and still have the same issue. Got be something with win10 2004. Regedit says, I have .net framework 4.8.something installed (Release = 528372) so this should be fine also.

Solution: Deleting the config.sjon did the job for me. Maybe there was some point in uninstalling wot numbers first but I don't think so.

    Use Windows Explorer, write: %appdata%

It takes you to your user spplication settings folder, from there you find Wot Numbers folder where system stores all user data.

Check the user guides for more info.
