    Hi BadButton!

I've tried 0.26.0, seems to be running pretty well.  I have noticed that recalculating the Battle Ratings is now very slow, it processes approx 2 battles/second on my rig, so for 28K+ battles it takes forever.

One thing that doesn't just apply to the new version is something strange with the battle parsing, not sure if it's because I'm using anonymizer or not, but sometimes the ally & enemy teams are switched (i.e. my team results show up as the enemy team).  This doesn't happen in all games, just sometimes.  Not sure what triggers it to happen.

I also noticed slow processing on recalculating.

Maybe BadButton can adapt the program to reduce time by letting the user choose which period to recalcuate (e.g. last mont, last 3 months, last year, all, or last 10, 100, 1000, etc.).

I also noticed that the program gets stuck while recalculating battle positions (Windows asking me: program not reacting, shut down program?). This happens sometimes after a few hundred battles recalculated, and sometimes even after 14 battles. Also with program priority set to realtime.

  • Zavar - 20.01.2020

The Windows program not responding thing has been happening for a long time.  It would be really nice if there was some way to allow the recalc to happen in the background.

I like your idea of letting the user chose the period.  I would also like to be able to select which battle statistics are being recalculated, say just WN8 for example.

  • BattleHook - 20.01.2020

in Battle view window when trying to change column width (any column I have tried) :

After pressing close I am able to change column width.

In previous version I had no problems changing column width.

It finally finished on my computer, 20K battles in about 2 hours. It looks like the moment the app loses the focus it crashes.

No problem resizing columns for me.

  • BattleHook - 25.01.2020

Postion Damage and Position Experience is not calculated when Anonimyser mode activated

  • Zavar - 26.01.2020

@Badbutton - Can you also add a new column for Combined Damage (i.e. Damage Done + Assist Damage)?

  • BadButton - 27.01.2020

Thanks for feedback to you all.

I have reworked the recalculation for battle positions that starts automatirunning on first startup for the new version, now only 100 latest battles will be recalculated. Will check if database indexing can help for speeding up the process.

@Badbutton - Can you also add a new column for Combined Damage (i.e. Damage Done + Assist Damage)?

After the latest pilot version Wot Numbers now also tracks assisted stun damage, should that also be included in "combined damage"?

  • PjhDeKoning - 28.01.2020

Since the stun damage also counts towards mark of excellence, I would add it to the combined damage.

  • Zavar - 28.01.2020

    Sounds good to me!

  • PjhDeKoning - 28.01.2020

    Noticed some problems with 0.26.1

At first start i got the following error:

    Database error

Error fetching data from database. Please check your database settings.

SELECT TOP 100 battle.*, playerTank.tankId as tankId FROM battle inner join playerTank on battle.playerTankId = playerTank.id ORDER BY battle.id DESC

Secondly, the stun damage value looks incorrect. The value in WotNumbers is 13578 while the actual stun damage was 2060.

I wish I had that amount of stun damage, finishing mission SPG-15 would be very easy ;-)

If you need more info let me know.

  • PjhDeKoning - 29.01.2020

Seems the stun damage is now correct, don't know why it was wrong before.

  • BadButton - 31.01.2020

Thanks for the feedback to you all, will try to solve the issues above.

Figured out the problem with the high stun recording, it includes the total stun got on that SPG into the first battle. Will fix it.

  • BadButton - 31.01.2020

New pilot version released, added "Damage Combined" column, and bugfixes reported for prev pilot version.

  • Zavar - 01.02.2020

Played some games last night, 0.26.2 working well!  Thanks for all of the hard work BadButton!

  • Zavar - 01.02.2020

I just tried to do a "Recalculate All Stats" with the include old battles option check as well... got a database error message

If I don't have the Include Old Battles checked and it recalculates for the last 1000, it seems to work fine.

  • BadButton - 14.02.2020

Thanks' again for feedback Zavar, found the bug and it will be included in new official release.

  • Zavar - 15.02.2020

Excellent!  Thanks BadButton for all the hard work!
